While most people associate computers with very versatile devices, some of them are built for a specific purpose. We mean servers, which are currently the basis of the functioning of IT networks. This equipment is configured to guarantee the highest operational efficiency in the implementation of specific tasks. Its special nature of work requires companies to prepare a special room - a server room, which is an important part of the data center. Check now what equipment should be in such a place!
What does the basic equipment of the server room look like?
It's time to deal with the elements that are used in the room intended for such computers. The server room, in addition to the servers themselves, of course, should also include- efficient air conditioning installations ensuring adequate air circulation and fire protection,
- emergency power devices (UPS) or power generators,
- high-quality network cables,
- server cabinets (RACK),
- small accessories, including certified cabling systems, e.g. switches, extension cords, guides for rack cabinets, and network bridges.
